Community Rules & Etiquette

The library graciously welcomes our community on their grounds. We must always remain respectful of staff, patrons, and the property.

• •Keep walkways, ramps, and main library entrances completely clear at all times.
• •Lower your voice and silence game sound effects if entering inside the library building.
• •Properly dispose of all trash, bottles, and snack wrappers in designated bins.
• •Adhere to all posted parking regulations in the library lot and neighboring streets.

Trainers of all ages, skill levels, and teams (Valor, Mystic, Instinct) are welcome. We keep every event safe and encouraging.

• •Members must be at least 13+ years of age (younger trainers must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).
• •Maintain a family-friendly environment: no profanity, vulgarity, or aggressive behavior.
• •Zero tolerance for harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any kind.
• •Help out new trainers, children, and returning players who are learning raid mechanics.
• •Friendly team rivalry is fun, but respect and sportsmanship always come first.

We believe in clean, in-person play where everyone has a blast catching Pokémon together.

• •Participate legitimately in person. Respect all players and venue boundaries.
• •Strictly no discussion of spoofing, multi-accounting, or account sharing.
• •No map scanners or map scanning bots are allowed in community channels or events.
• •Encourage fellow trainers and celebrate each other's shiny catches, hundos, and raid milestones.
• •Adhere to Scopely's Terms of Service (https://explore.scopely.com/terms) as well as Niantic's Community Guidelines during all activities.

Raiding together means no trainer gets left behind whenever possible.

• •If someone signals in Campfire that they are arriving within 2–3 minutes, hold the lobby or back out to re-enter together.
• •Announce lobby codes clearly when private lobbies are needed for high-volume crowds.
• •Split into smaller teams if a lobby hits the 20-trainer limit so everyone gets rewards.

Safety comes first. No Pokémon is worth an accident or injury.

• •NEVER play Pokémon GO while driving or operating a vehicle.
• •Look up from your screen when crossing streets, Maple Ave crosswalks, or navigating parking lots.

Trading is one of the best parts of the game—keep it comfortable and honest.

• •Never pressure anyone into a trade or special trade they are hesitant about.
• •Real-money transactions or selling Pokémon/accounts are strictly forbidden.
• •Parents and guardians should accompany minor trainers during trades and meetups.
